Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Unpack: Carefully remove the curtains from their packaging. Lay them flat to allow any creases from packing to relax. A cool iron on the reverse side may be used if needed (see care instructions).
- Prepare Rod: Ensure your curtain pole is securely installed and extends approximately 6-12 inches beyond the window frame on each side for optimal coverage and aesthetic.
- Hang Curtains: Slide the metal eyelets of each curtain panel onto your standard curtain pole. Position the panels so they hang evenly, with the embossed pattern facing inward into the room.
- Adjust Drape: Once hung, adjust the gather of the fabric along the pole to achieve your desired look. Ensure the curtains cover the entire window area when closed.
Compatibility
- Curtain Poles: Designed for use with standard curtain poles. The eyelet diameter accommodates most common pole sizes.
- Window Sizes: Available in a range of different widths and drops. Please measure your window carefully before purchasing to ensure the best fit. Remember to account for pole length and desired curtain drop (e.g., to the floor, to the sill, or below the sill).
- Color & Style: The Vogue range is available in multiple color families, including Pink, Blue, Grey, Black, Beige, and Green, allowing you to choose a shade that complements your existing decor. The simple embossed pattern offers a timeless elegance.
Care Instructions
Proper care will help maintain the aesthetic and functional properties of your Enhanced Living Vogue Curtains:
- Hand wash only: Use cool water and a mild detergent. Gently agitate the water with your hands and allow the curtains to soak briefly. Avoid harsh scrubbing.
- Do not bleach: Bleach can damage the fabric and cause color fading.
- Do not tumble dry: The heat from a tumble dryer can damage the thermal lining and cause shrinkage or creasing. Gently squeeze out excess water and hang to air dry.
- Cool Iron: If needed, iron on the reverse side only using a cool setting. Direct heat on the patterned side or high heat can damage the embossed texture.
- Do not dry clean: Stick to the recommended hand-wash method.
