FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for running?
While the Air Max cushioning provides comfort, these trainers are primarily designed for lifestyle and casual wear, not for specialized athletic performance like running.
How do I know if I have the correct size?
The UK size 12 is specified. Ensure there is about a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe when standing. Try them on with the type of socks you typically wear.
Can the 'Sun Club - Copa Wheat Grass' colorway be found in other sizes?
The Nike Air Max 97 SE series is available in various colorways and sizes. Please check the product listings for available options, as this specific colorway may have different size availability.
Is the leather on these trainers genuine?
Yes, the product description indicates a durable leather construction for the upper.
How often should I clean my Air Max 97 SE trainers?
Clean your trainers as needed, depending on usage. Regular light cleaning with a damp cloth is recommended to maintain their appearance, with deeper cleaning and conditioning applied periodically.
What is the main inspiration behind the Air Max 97 design?
The design of the Air Max 97 is famously inspired by the ripple effect of a water drop and the sleek lines of Japanese high-speed bullet trains.
Troubleshooting
Discomfort or rubbing
Ensure the laces are properly adjusted for a snug but not overly tight fit. Break in the shoes gradually by wearing them for shorter periods initially.
Visible Air unit appears deflated
The Air unit is designed for cushioning, not rigid support. Minor compression is normal with wear. If significant deflation occurs, it may indicate damage and professional assessment is recommended.
Color transfer from material
This can occasionally happen with new dyed materials. Ensure socks are colorfast. For light-colored surfaces, allow the shoes to air out, and consider a protective spray if the issue persists.

Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: For the leather and textile upper, use a soft brush or damp cloth to gently remove dirt and dust. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in a shoe bag or their original box, to maintain their shape and prevent dust accumulation.
- Leather Conditioning: Periodically use a leather conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking, especially after cleaning.
