Designed for indoor gardeners, greenhouse enthusiasts, and houseplant owners, these Steinernema feltiae nematodes offer a highly effective, natural biological solution for managing sciarid fly (fungus gnat) larvae. By targeting the soil-borne larvae that damage roots and seedlings, they provide a clean alternative to chemical pesticides, though they require consistent soil moisture and prompt usage upon delivery to remain effective.

Before application, ensure your soil is well-moistened, as the nematodes need a damp environment to travel through the soil pores to reach their targets. Prepare the mixture by diluting the nematodes into water according to the instructions on the packaging. Use a watering can to drench the soil thoroughly. After application, keep the soil moist for at least two weeks to allow the population to establish and feed.
