Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Timberland hiking shoes, proper care is essential. Since the upper is constructed from leather, it is recommended to clean them regularly with a soft brush to remove dirt and mud buildup. Avoid using harsh chemicals or machine washing, as this can degrade the waterproof integrity of the Gore-Tex membrane. If the shoes become soaked, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the leather to crack or lose its shape. The removable OrthoLite footbeds can be taken out and ventilated periodically to keep the interior fresh.
