The adidas Originals Taekwondo Mei is a sleek, low-profile sneaker designed for women who appreciate a blend of early 2000s martial arts heritage and contemporary street style. Featuring premium leather construction and a unique animal-inspired aesthetic, these shoes provide a lightweight, flexible fit perfect for casual daily wear. However, potential buyers should note that the ultra-low profile design offers minimal arch support, making them less suitable for long-distance walking or high-impact athletic activities.

No, the Taekwondo Mei is a lifestyle sneaker designed for fashion and casual wear, not for running or high-impact sports.
Clean with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild leather cleaner specifically designed for footwear.
They generally follow standard UK sizing for women, but the slim ballet profile may feel more snug than standard athletic trainers.
The insoles are designed for the specific low-profile fit of the shoe, so removing them is not recommended.
No, the leather material is not waterproof and should be kept away from heavy rain or standing water.
Try one of the alternative lacing patterns or adjust the tension of the primary laces to distribute pressure more evenly.
Use a specialized leather cleaner or a lightly dampened microfiber cloth to gently buff out surface marks.
To get the best fit, experiment with the three provided lace sets to adjust the tension across the top of the foot. Since these are made from leather, they may loosen slightly over time as they break in. To maintain the appearance of the animal-pattern leather, use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid submerging these shoes in water, as excessive moisture can damage the leather finish. If they get wet, air-dry them at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the leather from cracking. Store them in a cool, dry place to maintain their shape.
