FAQs
What kind of playing surface are these boots designed for?
These boots are specifically designed for artificial turf (TF) surfaces. Their lug rubber outsole provides optimal grip and performance on synthetic pitches.
Are these boots suitable for natural grass fields?
No, these boots are not recommended for natural grass fields. Using them on natural grass may result in reduced grip, suboptimal performance, and accelerated wear of the outsole.
How do I clean my adidas Predator Club TF boots?
Clean them after each use by removing loose dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. For more stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution and a soft sponge. Air dry them away from direct heat or sunlight.
Are these boots waterproof?
While the synthetic upper offers some resistance to moisture, these boots are not fully waterproof. They are designed to withstand typical playing conditions on artificial turf but are not intended for prolonged exposure to heavy rain or standing water.
What is the 'Strikeprint texture'?
The 'Strikeprint texture' is a special coating applied to the synthetic upper designed to enhance ball control, grip, and feel, helping players manipulate the ball more effectively for passing, dribbling, and shooting.
Do these boots run true to size?
Generally, adidas junior sizes are consistent. However, fit can vary by individual foot shape. It's recommended to consult the adidas size guide and consider trying them on if possible to ensure the best fit. A snug but comfortable fit is ideal for football boots.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable
Ensure you have the correct size. Synthetic boots may require a short break-in period. Wear them for short durations around the house before playing a full match. Re-lace them carefully to distribute pressure evenly.
Lack of grip on the pitch
Verify you are playing on an artificial turf (TF) surface. These boots are not designed for natural grass or firm ground. Also, check the outsole for excessive wear or debris accumulation that might reduce traction. Clean the studs if necessary.
Durability concerns (e.g., sole separating, upper tearing)
Ensure proper care practices are followed, especially drying without heat and cleaning with mild agents. Avoid using them on surfaces other than artificial turf, as this can cause premature wear. Contact customer support if issues persist despite proper use and care.
Unpleasant odor inside the boots
After each use, air out the boots. Consider using boot deodorizers or sprinkling baking soda inside them to absorb moisture and neutralize odors. Allow them to dry completely after cleaning.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Unlace the boots sufficiently to easily slide your foot in.
- Foot Insertion: Gently slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back.
- Tightening: Begin tightening the laces from the bottom (closest to the toes) upwards, ensuring an even and snug fit across your foot. Avoid over-tightening, which can cause discomfort, or under-tightening, which can lead to a loose fit.
- Knot: Secure the laces with a double knot to prevent them from coming undone during play.
Compatibility
- Playing Surface: These boots are specifically designed for artificial turf (TF) surfaces. Using them on natural grass, firm ground (FG), or indoor courts may result in suboptimal performance, accelerated wear, or potential injury.
- Age Group: Designed for junior players. Ensure the correct child's UK shoe size is chosen for optimal fit and comfort.
- Gender: Suitable for unisex use.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove any loose dirt and debris using a soft brush or damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution and a soft sponge. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers), as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Odor Control: Use boot deodorizers or sprinkle baking soda inside the boots to help absorb moisture and control odors.
