Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This watch utilizes a reliable quartz movement, which requires a battery to operate. Upon purchase, the crown is typically pulled out to conserve battery life. To start the watch, gently push the crown back into its normal position. You can then set the time by pulling the crown out to the first or second position (depending on the watch's functionality for date setting) and rotating it until the desired time is displayed. Remember to push the crown fully back in to ensure water resistance.
Compatibility: This is a standalone analog watch and does not have electronic compatibility requirements with other devices.
Care: To maintain the watch's appearance and function:
- Cleaning: Wipe the stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the finish.
- Water Resistance: While rated at 5 ATM, avoid prolonged exposure to water, submersion, or high-pressure water jets. Ensure the crown is always fully pushed in after setting the time.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original box, when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches.
- Battery: The quartz movement is battery-powered. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watchmaker to avoid damaging the movement or compromising water resistance.
