FAQs

Can I wear these for activities other than swimming?

Yes, the nylon construction and stylish checker print make them suitable for casual summer streetwear.

Are these shorts true to size?

Yes, they are designed in a regular fit. If you prefer a looser feel, you may consider sizing up.

Does the back pocket have a closure?

The back pocket is designed as a secure pocket to keep small belongings safe.

Should I wash these with bleach?

No, do not use bleach as it will damage the checker pattern and the printed Running Dog logo.

Is the fabric stretchable?

The fabric is nylon, which is durable and lightweight; it features an elasticated waistband for flexibility rather than stretch-woven fabric.

Troubleshooting

Drawcord becomes loose or slips

Tie a secure double knot and ensure the cord is pulled through the waistband evenly before tightening.

Mesh lining feels uncomfortable or itchy

Ensure the shorts are sized correctly; a regular fit should offer enough room for the mesh to sit comfortably against the skin.

Printed logo starting to crack

Turn the garment inside out before washing to reduce friction against the print.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your ICECREAM swim shorts maintain their look, follow these care instructions:

Washing: Machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle to protect the printed graphics and embroidered signet.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this can damage the nylon material and the prints.
Storage: Rinse in fresh water after use in chlorine or saltwater to remove chemical residue that could degrade the fabric.
Fit: The shorts feature a standard, regular cut. Use the external drawcord to adjust the waist to your personal preference before heading out.
