The Vibram Megagrip compound provides exceptional traction on a wide range of surfaces, including dry and wet rock, making it ideal for challenging outdoor conditions.

While sturdy, the Crux is optimized for approach terrain rather than general long-distance hiking. For extended treks on well-maintained trails, a dedicated hiking shoe might offer more cushioning and ankle support.

Gently brush off dry dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth and cool water, avoiding harsh soaps. Allow to air dry completely and consider a suede protector.

The third version features a lighter, more sculpted toe rand, a cleaner upper design, and revised lace detailing for an improved fit and modern aesthetic.

While they offer good grip for scrambling and standing on ledges, they are not designed as a primary rock climbing shoe. They are intended for the approach to climbing routes.
