Dust, splash and freeze-proof, the OM SYSTEM 40-150mm lens with Micro Four Thirds fit features a maximum f4.0-5.6 aperture and delivers outstanding performance throughout the zoom range, even in low light. The lens incorporates a new focusing system which powers two high-grade elements using dual linear motors for ultra-quick and near-silent focusing. The lens offers a 70cm minimum focusing distance at all focal lengths. Ideally suited for travel, nature and portrait photography, this lens is equivalent to an 80-300mm 35mm lens. It is compact and lightweight, making it an ideal travel companion. Despite its very compact design, it delivers outstanding image quality with pin-sharp images right up to the edges of the frame. The autofocus is nearly silent and high-speed. It is perfect for close-up images and optimized for movie shooting with low focusing noise. The lens has a 3.8x zoom, a circular aperture diaphragm, and a filter thread of 58mm.
