Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The RAK Ingot Recessed Niche requires installation within a wall cavity. This process should be undertaken by a qualified professional during the construction or renovation of the bathroom. A suitable chase must be created in the wall to accommodate the niche's dimensions, ensuring it sits flush with the finished wall surface. Electrical connection for the integrated LED must be handled by a qualified electrician, adhering to local building codes and ensuring IP44 compliance.
Compatibility: This niche is designed for installation in standard wall constructions. The brushed brass finish is intended to coordinate with RAK Ceramics' Ingot basin and waste range, but can also be paired with other brass-finished bathroom fittings. Ensure the wall cavity is appropriately sized for the 300mm x 300mm dimensions.
Care: To maintain the brushed brass finish, use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface coating. For stubborn marks, a mild, non-abrasive soap can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying with a soft cloth. Ensure the LED components are kept dry and clean according to their specific instructions, though the IP44 rating offers protection against splashing.
