Setup, Compatibility & Care
When preparing to work with this fabric, use a dedicated leather or denim needle (size 90/14 or 100/16) to ensure consistent penetration without skipping stitches. Avoid using pins, as they leave permanent holes in the material; instead, use sewing clips or double-sided basting tape to hold pieces together during assembly. For care, avoid machine washing or drying. Maintain the fabric by wiping the surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap when necessary. Never press directly with an iron, as the heat can permanently damage the synthetic surface; if you must remove wrinkles, use a cool steam-only method from the reverse side while protecting the surface with a pressing cloth.
