FAQs

How long should I burn the candle at one time?

For the best longevity and performance, burn for no longer than 3-4 hours at a time.

Is the fragrance safe for pets?

While the fragrance is designed for human relaxation, always ensure the room is well-ventilated if pets are present and keep out of reach.

What is the primary wax type used?

This candle uses premium mineral wax, selected for its clean and consistent burning properties.

Can I leave the candle burning while I sleep?

No. Never leave a burning candle unattended or while sleeping. Always extinguish it before getting into bed.

What are the base notes of the scent?

The base notes consist of creamy tonka bean and warm amber.

Troubleshooting

The candle is tunneling (wax is only melting around the wick)

Ensure you burn the candle long enough during the first use to melt the wax to the edges, or use a foil collar to help the edges melt during subsequent burns.

The flame is too high or flickering excessively

Extinguish the candle, let it cool completely, and trim the wick to 5mm before relighting.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your SBC Night Rituals Candle lasts the full 28 hours, follow these care instructions:

First Burn: On the first use, allow the wax pool to reach the edges of the container (usually 2-3 hours) to prevent future tunneling.
Wick Maintenance: Before each lighting, trim the wick to approximately 5mm to prevent soot and ensure a steady flame.
Safety Placement: Always place the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface away from drafts, curtains, or flammable materials.
Extinguishing: Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame to prevent smoke. Avoid blowing out the candle forcefully, as this can scatter wax.
