The Rapid Rootrainer is a professional-grade propagation system designed for serious gardeners and hobbyists who want to ensure robust early plant development. By utilizing internal vertical grooves, it prevents the common issue of root-circling, resulting in strong, fibrous roots that adapt quickly to soil after transplanting. While the system is highly effective for starting seedlings, cuttings, and herbs, users should note that the plastic components require careful handling during opening to avoid stressing fragile root systems.

Yes, the Rapid Rootrainer is designed for repeated use. Clean them thoroughly between seasons.
Deep-rooted vegetables like sweet peas, beans, and broad beans, as well as woody cuttings, show the most significant improvement.
The lid is best used during the germination phase to maintain humidity; it should be removed once sprouts emerge.
A fine-textured seed-starting mix works best to ensure it properly fills the narrow root-guiding channels.
This pack contains eight books, with four cells per book, for a total of 32 cells.
Ensure the clips are fully disengaged; if roots have grown through the bottom, gently trim them first to avoid snapping the book hinge.
Ensure you have used a firm, quality potting mix and that the rootrainer books are securely snapped shut before filling.
Remove the clear lid for a few hours daily to improve air circulation and prevent excess humidity buildup.
Setting up the system involves snapping the rootrainer books into the holding tray and filling them with moist seed-starting compost. Ensure the books are securely closed before filling.
