The primer is usually dry to the touch in about 30 minutes, but it is recommended to wait at least 30 minutes before brush painting.
While the primer can adhere to metal, it is primarily designed for plastic, resin, and MDF. For metal models, it is recommended that you use a primer specifically designed for metal.
Store the spray primer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
Clean the nozzle immediately after use by turning the can upside down and spraying until only propellant comes out. If it is clogged, try using a pin to clear the nozzle.
For most applications, a single even coat is sufficient. However, for darker surfaces or to achieve a flawless finish, a second thin coat may be necessary.
For minor overspray, use a damp cloth. For more stubborn areas, a suitable paint thinner may be required, but always test it on an inconspicuous area first.
It is best to apply the primer in moderate temperatures and low humidity. Avoid spraying in extreme heat or cold, or in overly humid conditions.
Ensure you are shaking the can well before use. Apply the primer in thin, even coats from the correct distance. Multiple thin coats are better than one thick coat.
The can may be too cold, shake well, and ensure the can is at room temperature. Also ensure you are spraying from the correct distance and in short bursts.
Make sure the model is clean and free of any oils or residue. Consider lightly sanding the model surface to provide a better surface for the primer to grip.
