Product Information
Full details
The Wiha TorqueVario®-S VDE torque screwdriver system offers controlled screw tightening for electric installations. This tool set includes an ergonomically designed torque screwdriver with an integrated numeric scale, a bit holder, and an adjusting tool. All components are conveniently stored in a durable bag for easy identification. The VDE torque screwdriver is suitable for a wide range of applications, with a torque range from 0.5 to 2.0 Nm. It features an audible and tactile signal that confirms when the pre-set torque is reached, preventing material damage and the need for rework. With a release accuracy of +/- 6%, the torque tool meets EN ISO 6789 requirements. The insulated ClicFix bit holder ensures a secure grip on 75 mm slimBits through mechanical blade locking. Both the torque screwdriver and slimBits undergo individual piece testing according to IEC 60900, enabling safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. The handle allows infinite torque adjustment using the included Torque-Setter tool and features an ergonomic multi-component design with insulation up to 1,000 V AC. Handle sizes are optimized for torque settings, and an audible and perceptible click indicates when the pre-set torque is achieved. Manufactured to IEC 60900:2004, EN ISO 6798, BS EN 26789, and ASME B107.14M standards, its accuracy is +/- 6%, traceable to national standards. It includes a slimTorque VDE bit holder for 6 mm slimBits and is delivered in a practical plastic box with a factory calibration certificate.
