The Sealey Spring Clamp Set (AK044) is an essential toolkit addition for DIY enthusiasts, professional woodworkers, and automotive technicians looking for a reliable way to secure workpieces during gluing or assembly. These four 60mm clamps offer a versatile solution for holding materials of varying shapes and sizes securely, though they are specifically limited to smaller-scale projects due to their 60mm capacity.

The clamps have a maximum jaw capacity of 60mm.
Yes, they can clamp metal, but be aware that they are designed for light-duty holding rather than high-force structural clamping.
No, this specific set includes four clamps, all with a 60mm capacity.
The swivel jaws are designed as a fixed component of the clamp mechanism; the set is intended to be used as a durable, integrated unit.
Yes, the materials used are generally resistant to standard wood glues; however, it is best practice to wipe off any excess glue before it dries on the surface.
Check the swivel joint for debris or wood chips; clean with a dry brush to allow the jaw to pivot freely.
Inspect the pivot point for obstruction; if the clamp was over-extended beyond its 60mm capacity, the spring may have reached its limit.
No assembly is required for these clamps; they are ready for immediate use upon removal from the packaging. The 60mm capacity is best suited for light to medium-duty tasks. To maintain the integrity of the tool, avoid using them on high-heat components or chemicals that may degrade the soft-grip rubber coating. Regularly wipe down the swivel jaws to remove wood dust or debris, which ensures that the jaw surface maintains its grip on future projects. Store in a dry environment to prevent the internal springs from developing surface rust.
