Setup, Compatibility & Care
For the best results, plant Catherine's Rose in a sunny spot that receives at least six hours of direct sunlight daily. Prepare the soil with organic matter such as compost or well-rotted manure to ensure good drainage. When planting, dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and ensure the graft union is level with the soil surface. Water thoroughly after planting and apply a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring as new growth appears. For container plants, check soil moisture daily during the summer, as pots dry out significantly faster than garden beds. Prune back in late winter to encourage vigorous new stems for the coming season.
