This Mayfair Rug in Grey (120cm x 170cm) is designed for homeowners seeking a modern and sophisticated update to their living spaces. Its key benefit is the luxurious, velvety texture combined with a metallic sheen that adds a high-end feel, while its caveat is that the premium polyester may require careful cleaning to maintain its appearance. Crafted from 100% premium polyester with a cut shrink pile and soft cotton backing, this rug offers durability suitable for high-traffic areas. It features a contemporary abstract design with a captivating metallic sheen, enhancing the aesthetic of any room.

The Mayfair Rug is crafted from 100% premium polyester.
This rug measures 120cm in width and 170cm in length.
The durable polyester makes it suitable for general household use. However, for heavy soiling, professional cleaning may be required.
The metallic sheen is woven into the fabric. Regular vacuuming and gentle care will help maintain its appearance. Avoid harsh scrubbing.
This rug is designed for indoor living areas and not recommended for consistently damp environments.
Consider the main furniture placement. For living rooms, ensure at least the front legs of your sofa and chairs sit on the rug. The 120cm x 170cm size is ideal for smaller seating areas or as an accent.
New rugs may have a slight odor from manufacturing and packaging. Allow the rug to air out in a well-ventilated room for a few days; the odor typically dissipates.
Ensure the rug is placed on a flat surface. Try rolling it in the opposite direction overnight or place heavy objects on the corners for a few days.
Avoid direct, prolonged sunlight exposure. Clean gently with a soft cloth; professional cleaning may be needed for significant dullness.
Use a humidifier in the room or consider a rug anti-static spray. A rug pad can also help mitigate this.
Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear. Vacuum regularly and consider if the area is too high traffic for this type of rug.
Setup:
Unroll the rug immediately upon arrival and lay it flat in its desired location. It may take a few days for the rug to completely flatten out. For stubborn creases, you can gently roll the rug in the opposite direction or place heavy objects on the corners.
Compatibility:
This rug is compatible with most floor types. For added safety and to prevent slipping, especially on hard surfaces like wood or tile, it is recommended to use a rug pad (sold separately).
