Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the jack involves assembling the two-piece handle and ensuring the release valve is tightly closed by turning it clockwise. Always verify that your vehicle's weight does not exceed the 30-ton rating before attempting a lift.
Care instructions are straightforward: keep the hydraulic piston clean and free of grit to prevent seal damage. Regularly inspect the unit for any signs of hydraulic fluid leakage. Store the jack in a dry place, ideally upright, to prevent air from entering the hydraulic system. If the jack feels 'spongy' during operation, check the fluid levels as specified in standard maintenance procedures for hydraulic rams.
