FAQs
What material is the La Dolce Frutta Doormat made of?
The doormat is made from coir, a natural fiber known for its durability and dirt-trapping abilities. It is backed with PVC for grip.
Is this doormat suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, the coir material is water-resistant and durable, making it suitable for outdoor placement, such as on a porch or entryway.
How do I clean the doormat?
You can shake out loose dirt or use a damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid excessive soaking and harsh chemicals.
What are the dimensions of the doormat?
The dimensions are approximately 60cm wide by 40cm deep and 2cm high (W60 x D40 x H2cm).
Will the PVC backing damage my floors?
The PVC backing is designed to provide grip without damaging typical smooth flooring surfaces like tile, laminate, or sealed wood. Always ensure the floor is clean and dry.
Can I place this doormat in a high-traffic area?
Yes, the coir construction is hard-wearing and ideal for daily use in high-traffic areas like your home's main entryway.
Troubleshooting
Mat is not lying flat
Unroll the mat completely and place it in a warm environment for a few hours to help it flatten out. If necessary, place heavy objects on the edges to help press them down.
Dirt not being removed effectively
Ensure the coir fibers are not excessively worn. Shake the mat vigorously outdoors to dislodge trapped dirt and expose fresh fibers. Clean the mat thoroughly if it becomes oversaturated with mud.
Mat slipping on floor
Ensure the floor surface beneath the mat is clean and dry. The PVC backing requires a clean surface to grip effectively. Check for any debris or moisture trapped between the mat and the floor.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the doormat and place it in your desired location. Ensure the area is clean and dry before placement for optimal grip.
Compatibility: The PVC backing is designed to grip well on most smooth indoor flooring surfaces, including tile, laminate, and sealed wood. It can also be used on patios or other outdoor surfaces.
Care Instructions:
- Regular Cleaning: Shake or beat the mat outdoors to remove loose dirt and debris.
