Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your cladding, store the boards in a flat, dry, and climate-controlled environment before installation. When installing, use appropriate exterior-grade fixings that are compatible with MDF to prevent corrosion or staining. It is essential to ensure a ventilated air gap behind the boards to prevent moisture buildup. For cutting, use a fine-tooth blade to minimize chipping on the factory-finished edges. Periodically inspect the installation for any signs of physical damage or surface wear; if minor damage occurs, use a touch-up paint specifically matched to the light grey finish to prevent moisture ingress.
