Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation requires a stable, flat surface or a load-bearing wall. Always use heavy-duty hardware appropriate for your specific wall material (wood stud or masonry). To maintain the unit, keep the fingerprint sensor free of dust and oil using a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals on the cold-rolled steel exterior to prevent finish degradation. Check the battery levels periodically; if the low battery indicator triggers, replace the batteries immediately to ensure the electronic keypad and biometric scanner remain operational. Keep the manual override keys in a secure, separate location from the safe itself.
