It sets in minutes, creating an easy to sand, very tough and very smooth repair. The kit contains hardener and spreader. Suitable for metal, wood, stone and most plastics. To use, prepare the surface by removing all dirt, grease, moisture and loose material. Ensure all mixing equipment is clean. Mix 1 part Hardener to 50 parts Filler (pea: golfball) or 2%. Mix thoroughly until all the hardener is dispersed and no streaks are evident. Apply filler immediately with the spreader. Setting reaction commences after 5 minutes and paste will become fully cured and sandable after 20 minutes (at an ambient temperature of 18°C/65°F). Sand the repair down to the required level only when paste is fully set. Correct any imperfections with more filler mixture, only after the application has cured. Tetrion Powerfil is best used in warm, dry, well-ventilated conditions. In hotter temperatures the filler mix will set more quickly; in cooler conditions, the filler will take longer to cure completely. Important: Never use too much hardener. Never return unused paste to the tin. Keep paste cool in summer and warm in winter. Tetrion Powerfil Filler is a rapid-cure, super strong filler which sets 5x harder than concrete in 15 minutes. Powerfil technology enables the user to fill holes, horizontal or vertical, without 'slumping'. Its super smooth finish can be drilled, painted (with all paint types), easily spread, screwable, and shaped. The versatile formulation is also perfect for filling small holes, hairline cracks and grain or knotholes in new wood. Tetrion Powerfil can be used on most hard surfaces, is resistant to vibration, will not shrink or crack and cures fully to any depth in one application. Ideal for large and small jobs, both indoor and outdoor, which require a heavy-duty filler. Suitable for metals, wood, stone and most plastics.
This guide is for anyone looking to repair surfaces with Tetrion Powerfil. Powerfil provides a super smooth, rapid-cure solution for filling holes, cracks, and imperfections on various surfaces, offering a tough and sandable finish. Note that accurate mixing of the hardener is crucial for optimal results.
