Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Upon receiving the bike, it's recommended to have it professionally assembled or thoroughly checked by a qualified bike mechanic. Key areas to verify include proper torque on all bolts, correct brake setup and bleeding, and adjustment of suspension pressures and damping settings to match rider weight and preference. The remote dropper post lever should be positioned for comfortable access. The electronic shifting system requires initial pairing and setup via the Sram AXS™ app.
Compatibility: The bike features a Boost 148 rear hub spacing and UDH™ (Universal Derailleur Hanger) for drivetrain compatibility. The bottom bracket is a standard BSA threaded type. The headset is designed for tapered steerer tubes. Ensure any aftermarket accessories (like pedals, grips, or computer mounts) are compatible with the bike's standards.
Care: Regularly clean the frame and components using mild soap and water. Avoid high-pressure washers, especially around bearings and suspension seals. Keep the drivetrain clean and lubricated, paying attention to the chain and cassette. Periodically check brake pad wear and rotor condition. For the electronic shifting, ensure the AXS™ battery is charged. Inspect suspension seals for leaks and consider professional servicing annually or as recommended by the manufacturer.
