Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure safe operation, always inspect the chain and hooks for signs of wear, deformation, or cracks before each use. Ensure the mounting point (such as an overhead crane beam or heavy-duty rafter) is rated to support more than the intended load. When operating, always ensure the chain is vertical and not pulled at an angle, as side-loading can cause premature wear or dangerous shifting. For maintenance, keep the G80 steel chain lightly oiled to prevent oxidation and ensure smooth movement through the sprocket. Periodically inspect the dual pawl brake to ensure it engages firmly without slipping under tension. Store the hoist in a clean, dry environment protected from corrosive chemicals or excessive humidity.
