Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure a professional installation, measure your wall lengths carefully and account for a 10% waste factor for mitre cuts.
- Preparation: Ensure walls are clean and dry. Use a high-quality wood adhesive or finish nails for secure attachment.
- Cutting: Use a fine-toothed saw or a power mitre saw with a high-tooth-count blade to ensure clean cuts on the MDF.
- Finishing: Lightly sand the primed surface with fine-grit sandpaper, remove dust, and apply your chosen topcoat (emulsion, satin, or gloss).
- Maintenance: Regularly wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may degrade the paint finish.
