Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the underlying wall surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound. Panels are designed to be cut to size using standard power tools like a jigsaw or circular saw. The tongue-and-groove system allows panels to simply click together. Apply a suitable waterproof adhesive (check manufacturer recommendations) to the wall and/or the panel edges before pressing firmly into place. Ensure all edges are sealed with appropriate silicone sealant where necessary.
Compatibility: Aquabord panels are suitable for installation over most existing wall surfaces, including plasterboard, concrete, and existing tiles (provided they are sound and flat). They are designed for interior wet wall applications.
Care: Clean panels regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface finish.
