Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the water supply to the shower is turned off.
- Unscrew the old shower hose from both the shower head and the shower valve/riser rail.
- Screw the new Triton shower hose onto the shower head, ensuring a snug fit. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench for a final quarter-turn if necessary (avoid overtightening).
- Screw the other end of the hose onto the shower valve outlet. Again, hand-tighten and then give a final quarter-turn with a wrench if needed.
- Turn the water supply back on and check for any leaks at both connections.
Compatibility:
This hose is designed for compatibility with all showers on any system, making it a versatile choice for most homes. It connects to standard shower head and valve fittings.
Care:
- Clean the hose regularly with a soft, damp cloth to maintain its chrome finish.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface.
- Periodically check the connections for any signs of wear or leakage and tighten if necessary.
