Yes, the natural cotton sateen construction is breathable and hypoallergenic, making it gentle for most skin types.
To minimize fading, wash inside out in cold water and avoid direct, prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight when drying.
Ensure you are using a mild detergent and avoiding harsh fabric softeners which can leave residue on the sateen weave.
Remove the duvet cover from the dryer while slightly damp and shake it out before placing it on the bed to allow natural smoothing.
To keep your Appletree bedding in prime condition, always wash before the first use on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can strip the sateen finish and affect the clarity of the digital print. Tumble dry on a low heat setting to prevent shrinkage and pull from the dryer promptly to reduce wrinkles. The set is designed to be compatible with standard duvet inserts; ensure you select the appropriate size for your bed frame to achieve the intended tailored drape. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent moisture buildup within the fibers.
