Product Information
Full details
The Lorina French Link Rugby Pelham is a popular alternative to a double bridle, ideal for horses with small mouths, large tongues, or those who don't tolerate two bits. The Rugby Pelham mimics the appearance of two bits with its loose snaffle rings resembling a bradoon bit. Its French link mouthpiece alleviates the nutcracker action and prevents palate pressure, designed for use with two reins. French link bits soften the effect of a single-jointed bit by eliminating the nutcracker action and palate pressure through a shaped flat plate resting on the horse's tongue. The Rugby Bit design offers the look of a Double Bridle Bit using only one mouthpiece, suitable for showing horses that dislike or cannot accommodate a double mouthpiece. This bit from Lorina is crafted from highly polished stainless steel, ensuring rust prevention and durability against rein damage or mouth abrasions. Available in 5", 5.5", or 6".
