No, it is a self-contained recirculating system that uses water from the internal reservoir.
While the reservoir is frost-resistant, we recommend turning off the pump and draining the water in freezing temperatures to protect the internal components.
Depending on sun exposure and temperature, you should check the water level weekly and top it up as needed to ensure the pump remains submerged.
The sandstone column weighs 60kg, and when the reservoir is filled with 90 litres of water, the total system weight is approximately 150kg.
The kit is designed for DIY assembly, but due to the weight of the stone, we recommend having two people present to assist with the placement.
