Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the surface you are applying the vinyl to is clean, dry, smooth, and free from dust or grease. Measure and cut the vinyl using the grid on the reverse. Peel back a small section of the backing paper and carefully align the vinyl with the edge of your surface. Slowly peel away the backing paper while smoothing the vinyl onto the surface with a felt edge smoother or a soft cloth, working from the center outwards to remove air bubbles. For curved areas, a hairdryer on a low setting can help the vinyl stretch and adhere.
Compatibility: This vinyl adheres best to any flat, non-porous surface. It is suitable for laminate, wood, glass, metal, and painted surfaces. Avoid applying to rough, textured, or freshly painted (allow paint to cure fully) surfaces, as adhesion may be compromised.
Care: To maintain the glossy finish and durability, wipe spills immediately with a damp cloth. For tougher marks, use a mild detergent and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers, which can damage the surface. The vinyl is heat resistant up to 70°C; keep away from direct heat sources like hot pans or stovetops.
