Product Information

Full details

The iUNIK Beta-Glucan Lacto Barrier Milk Essence is designed for individuals seeking a deep moisture boost and improved skin firmness, particularly those with sensitive skin types. By combining the benefits of a toner and a serum, it effectively strengthens the skin barrier and enhances elasticity; however, users with extremely oily skin may find the nourishing milk texture slightly richer than traditional watery toners.

FAQs

Is this product suitable for oily skin?

Yes, though it is moisturizing, the lightweight milky formula is designed to absorb quickly without leaving an oily residue.

Can I use this with retinol?

Absolutely. The soothing ingredients like Beta-Glucan and Panthenol can help balance the irritation often caused by retinol.

Is this fragrance-free?

The product is formulated to be a sensitive-skin expert, focusing on clean and gentle ingredients.

Does it contain real milk?

No, the 'Milk' in the name refers to the milky, creamy appearance and texture of the essence, not dairy content.

How long will a 200ml bottle last?

With daily use of approximately 1-2 pumps, most users find a 200ml bottle lasts between 3 to 4 months.

Can I use this as my only moisturizer?

Those with oily or combination skin might find it sufficient in humid weather, but very dry skin types may require an additional cream on top.

Troubleshooting

Essence feels too heavy on the skin

Reduce the amount used to half a pump and ensure your skin is slightly damp before application.

Bottle pump not dispensing product

Ensure the cap is tightly screwed on and prime the pump by pressing it firmly several times to remove air bubbles.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This essence is designed to be the primary hydration step in your skincare routine.

Cleansing: Start with a gentle cleanser to remove impurities.
Application: Dispense a moderate amount of the milk essence into your palms or onto a cotton pad.
Absorption: Apply evenly across the face and neck, using gentle patting motions to facilitate deeper penetration.
Compatibility: It pairs well with vitamin C serums or Retinol, as the soothing formula helps mitigate potential irritation from stronger actives.
Care: Keep the bottle tightly sealed and stored in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to maintain the potency of the fermentation extracts and peptides.
