Setup, Compatibility & Care
Lining Installation:
- Clean the interior surfaces of your vehicle thoroughly.
- Cut the 5.5m x 2m lining material to the desired shapes, accounting for curves and fixtures. Test fit before applying adhesive.
- Apply a suitable automotive-grade adhesive (sold separately, unless using the included glue for pouches) to the vehicle's surface or the back of the lining, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Carefully press the lining into place, ensuring it conforms to contours without stretching excessively. Use a roller or firm pressure to secure it.
Pouch Installation:
- Determine the desired location for the storage pouches on the van lining or vehicle wall.
- Clean the mounting surface to remove dust and grease.
- Apply the provided adhesive glue to the back of the pouch using the adjustable flow rate nozzle. Ensure even coverage.
- Press the pouch firmly onto the chosen location. Hold in place for the recommended curing time specified by the glue manufacturer (typically a few minutes).
- Allow the adhesive to fully cure before placing items in the pouches.
Compatibility:
The lining is designed to be versatile and can be used in various vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, and camper conversions. It is suitable for application on metal, plastic, and wood surfaces.
Care:
The 100% polypropylene material is bleachable, making it easy to maintain. For general cleaning, use a damp cloth. For tougher stains, a mild bleach solution can be used, followed by rinsing with water. Ensure the lining is dry before re-entering the vehicle.
