FAQs

Are these freezer packs safe for food?

Yes, they contain a non-toxic aqueous liquid.

How long do they stay frozen?

Duration depends on the insulation quality of your cool bag and outside temperature, but they typically provide several hours of cooling.

Can I put them in the dishwasher?

No, it is recommended to clean them by hand with a damp cloth to protect the seals and plastic.

How many come in a pack?

The product comes as a pair of two ice packs.

Do I need to leave room for expansion?

The packs are manufactured with the correct liquid levels to account for expansion during freezing.

Troubleshooting

Packs do not stay cold for long periods

Ensure the cool bag is kept zipped and shaded; ensure the packs were frozen for a full 24 hours prior.

Visible condensation on the outside

This is normal during high humidity; wipe dry occasionally to prevent moisture buildup inside the cool bag.

Plastic exterior shows scratches

Surface scratches do not affect performance as long as the heat-sealed cap remains intact.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To setup, simply place the packs in your domestic freezer until frozen solid. They are compatible with most standard fishing cool bags and lunch boxes. For care, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth after each use to remove any bait residue or dirt. Avoid dropping the packs on hard surfaces while frozen to prevent potential structural stress on the polypropylene casing. Store them in a cool, dry place when not in use, ideally inside your cool bag to keep them organized.
