Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting started with your Hot Wheels 5-Car Pack is simple and requires minimal setup. Proper care will ensure your collection remains in excellent condition for years to come.
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the cars from their packaging. The plastic blister pack can be sharp, so adult supervision is recommended for younger children.
- Inspect: Check each car for any manufacturing defects or damage that may have occurred during shipping.
Compatibility
- Age Recommendation: These cars are suitable for children aged 3 years and older.
- Hot Wheels Tracks: While most Hot Wheels cars are designed to work with Hot Wheels tracks, please note that not all vehicles are compatible with all Hot Wheels sets. Some vehicles may be too wide, too long, or have a shape that prevents them from working optimally with specific track elements like launchers or loops.
- Other Brands: These cars are specifically designed for the Hot Wheels ecosystem and may not be compatible with track systems or accessories from other brands.
Care
- Cleaning: To clean your Hot Wheels cars, gently wipe them with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the paint and decals.
- Storage: Store your cars in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and material degradation. Collector cases or display shelves are ideal for protecting them from dust and damage.
- Handling: Encourage gentle handling. While die-cast, excessive force or impact can cause axles to bend, wheels to break, or paint to chip. Avoid dropping them on hard surfaces.
