Troubleshooting

Difficulty connecting small curved pieces

Ensure the underlying support structure is snapped completely into place; if it wobbles, the exterior plates will not align correctly.

Missing pieces during assembly

Check your local LEGO customer service portal to request replacement parts using the set number 43017.

Model feels unstable on base

Verify that all pins connecting the helmet shell to the OP logo base are fully inserted until a click is heard.

Pros and Cons

Higher part count may be challenging for younger builders

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin your build, organize your pieces by color or size on a flat, well-lit surface. Download the LEGO Builder app on your smartphone or tablet to access the zoom-in and rotate features for the assembly steps. For long-term care, lightly dust the model with a soft, dry brush or canned air, as the intricate nooks of the helmet design can collect debris easily. Avoid using water or liquid cleaners, as these can damage the finish and potentially loosen the clutch power of the bricks.
