FAQs
What material is the Travasi Bottle made of?
The bottle is made from high-quality borosilicate glass.
Can I put hot liquids in this bottle?
While borosilicate glass can withstand some heat, it's best to avoid pouring extremely hot liquids directly into the bottle to prevent thermal shock. Room temperature or chilled liquids are ideal.
Is the pink color permanent?
The color is integrated into the glass during the manufacturing process and is permanent, provided the bottle is cared for according to the instructions.
What is the capacity of the bottle?
The capacity is suitable for serving moderate amounts of beverages or liquids, ideal for table service.
Can I use this bottle for storing liquids long-term?
Yes, borosilicate glass is non-reactive and suitable for storing liquids. However, for optimal freshness of certain beverages like wine or milk, it's best to consume them within a reasonable timeframe.
Does the bottle come in other colors?
The 'Travasi' collection features various pouring forms and colors, including amber. This specific product is the pink variant.
Is the bottle microwave safe?
No, this glass bottle is not microwave safe.
Troubleshooting
Bottle appears cloudy after washing.
This can sometimes happen with borosilicate glass. Try soaking in a solution of warm water and a small amount of white vinegar, then rinse thoroughly and air dry or dry with a soft cloth.
A slight imperfection in the glass.
Minor variations are inherent to handcrafted glass items and are not considered defects. They add to the unique character of the piece.
Difficulty pouring cleanly.
Ensure the bottle is held at a suitable angle. For very thick liquids like oil, a gentle swirl before pouring may help. For wine or water, the flow should be smooth.
