Full details
The Elho Greenville Round 16cm pot is designed for eco-conscious indoor and outdoor gardeners looking for a blend of contemporary aesthetics and functional plant care. Its primary benefit is the integrated water reservoir, which minimizes maintenance by keeping plants hydrated, though users should note that at 16cm in diameter, it is best suited for small to medium-sized houseplants or herbs rather than large shrubs.

FAQs
Is the pot suitable for indoor use?
Yes, the pot is designed for both indoor and outdoor environments, making it versatile for any space.
Can I leave the pot outside in winter?
Absolutely, the material is frost-resistant, allowing it to withstand freezing temperatures throughout the year.
How do I use the integrated water reservoir?
Simply water your plant; the reservoir will automatically collect excess water and allow the plant to draw it back up as needed.
Is the plastic harmful to my plants?
No, the pot is made from high-quality recycled plastic that is safe for both decorative plants and herbs intended for consumption.
How should I clean the pot?
A gentle wipe with water and a soft cloth is sufficient to keep the pot looking new.
Troubleshooting
Water pooling in the base
Check to ensure the drainage holes are not blocked by tightly packed soil or roots.
Plant looks dehydrated despite reservoir
Verify that the plant's roots have grown deep enough to reach the reservoir level or that the growing medium is properly wicking moisture upward.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Constructed from 100% recycled plastic materials
- Frost-proof design suitable for year-round outdoor use
- Self-watering reservoir reduces the frequency of manual irrigation
- Lightweight construction for easy repositioning
- Recyclable at the end of its life cycle
Cons
- Limited to a 16cm diameter, restricting it to smaller plant varieties
- Plastic material may lack the weight/stability of heavy ceramic for tall plants
- Color options may be limited depending on the specific seasonal inventory
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the Greenville pot is straightforward. Ensure the drainage holes are clear of debris if placing directly on delicate indoor surfaces. For outdoor use, the pot works well on various surfaces including wood decking, stone patios, or garden soil. To maintain the vibrant Leaf Green finish, simply wipe the exterior with a damp cloth; avoid harsh chemical cleaners that could degrade the recycled plastic finish. Because the pot includes a base and reservoir, ensure the reservoir is properly seated before planting to allow for the wicking process to function as intended.
