Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Upon receiving the bike, ensure all components are securely fastened. It is highly recommended to have the bike assembled and inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic to ensure proper functioning and safety, especially for the braking and drivetrain systems.
Compatibility: The bike is designed for road and light trail use. Ensure any accessories like racks or panniers are compatible with standard mounting points.
Care:
- Battery: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures. Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use for extended periods, to maintain its health.
- Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid high-pressure washers, especially near the motor and battery.
- Maintenance: Regularly check tire pressure, brake function, and chain lubrication. E-bike specific components, such as the motor and battery, may require professional servicing according to manufacturer guidelines.
