Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best results, always test your stitch tension on a scrap piece of fabric before applying the zip to your main project. When shortening the zip, use a sharp pair of scissors to trim the excess tape and secure the new end with a few hand-sewn stitches or a zigzag stitch to replace the stopper. For care, it is recommended to wash the garment with the zipper closed to prevent the teeth from snagging on other items. Avoid direct contact with a hot iron, as the nylon coil can melt; use a pressing cloth or a low-temperature setting when ironing over the seam area.
