Product Information

Full details

The UGREEN 130W PD Car Charger is designed for power users who need to charge high-demand devices like laptops and tablets while commuting or traveling. Its standout benefit is the massive 100W single-port output, allowing for full-speed laptop charging, though users should note that total power distribution across all three ports will throttle when used simultaneously.

FAQs

Can I charge my laptop and phone at the same time?

Yes, the charger supports simultaneous charging, though the laptop port will throttle its speed if other devices are drawing power.

Does this work in both 12V and 24V vehicles?

Yes, this charger is designed to be compatible with both standard 12V car systems and 24V truck electrical systems.

Is the included cable long enough?

The included cable is standard length for typical vehicle cabin layouts, suitable for reaching from the dashboard to the passenger or driver seat.

Why does the charger feel warm?

It is normal for the charger to feel warm during high-wattage power delivery due to the conversion process; however, the internal safety protections will prevent it from overheating.

Will this work with my older iPhone?

Yes, it is backwards compatible with older iPhones, though they will charge at the standard speed supported by the device.

Can I leave the charger plugged in when the car is off?

It is generally safe, but if your vehicle's 12V outlet remains powered when the ignition is off, it may draw a small amount of power from your car battery.

Troubleshooting

Device is not charging at maximum speed

Ensure you are using the primary USB-C port and the provided 100W-rated cable.

Charger is not fitting snugly in the socket

Check the cigarette lighter port for debris or carbon buildup that may be preventing a full connection.

Only one device is charging

Unplug and replug the cables to reset the power distribution logic of the charger.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Capable of charging power-hungry laptops at full speed
Includes a high-quality 100W-rated charging cable
Robust safety protections built into the hardware
Compact design that fits flush in most standard car sockets

Cons

Maximum 130W output is shared when all ports are occupied
Stiff cable included may be cumbersome in small vehicle cabins
Requires a high-wattage power source to achieve maximum rated speeds

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin, insert the charger firmly into your car's 12V/24V cigarette lighter socket. Ensure the LED indicator lights up to confirm power connectivity. The charger is compatible with most modern smartphones (iPhone 15/14/13, Galaxy S23/S22/S21), laptops (MacBook Pro), and mobile consoles (Steam Deck, Switch). For maintenance, keep the ports free of debris and avoid exposing the unit to moisture or extreme heat inside the vehicle. Always unplug the device during prolonged periods of vehicle inactivity to prevent battery drain on older vehicle electrical systems.
