FAQs
How do I use the Steam Refresh cycle?
Add a small amount of water to the drum (refer to the manual for exact quantity), place up to 3 items of clothing in the drum, select the Steam Refresh program, and press start. The cycle takes approximately 20 minutes.
What does the 'A-50%' energy rating mean?
This rating signifies that the washing machine is 50% more energy-efficient than the standard benchmark for an 'A' rated appliance, meaning it consumes less electricity and water, saving you money on utility bills.
Can I use fabric softener with this machine?
Yes, there is a dedicated compartment in the detergent drawer for fabric softener. Add it to the designated section before starting the wash cycle.
How often should I clean the drum?
It is recommended to run the Auto Clean cycle or a hot wash (60°C or higher) with an empty drum at least once a month to maintain hygiene and prevent odors.
What is the warranty on the digital inverter motor?
The digital inverter motor comes with a 25-year lifetime certification, offering significant peace of mind regarding its durability and performance.
Is it possible to wash delicates or wool items?
Yes, this machine includes specific programs designed for delicate fabrics and wool. Always check the garment's care label and select the appropriate cycle for best results.
How can I ensure the best results for pet hair removal?
Use the dedicated PetHairCare program. This cycle typically includes a pre-wash and an extra rinse to effectively lift and remove pet fur from your laundry.
Troubleshooting
Washing machine does not start
Check if the power cord is plugged in securely. Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Verify that a program has been selected and the start button has been pressed. Check for any error codes displayed on the panel.
Excessive vibration or noise during spin cycle
Ensure the machine is level using the adjustable feet. Check that transit bolts have been removed if it's a new installation. Verify the load is balanced within the drum; redistribute if necessary. Do not overload the machine.
Water not draining
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Clean the drain pump filter for any obstructions. Ensure the drain hose is not inserted too far into the standpipe, creating a siphon effect.
App cannot connect to the washing machine
Verify that your home Wi-Fi network is working. Ensure the washing machine is within Wi-Fi range. Restart both your router and the washing machine. Check the HomeWhiz app for any service updates or troubleshooting tips.
Poor washing results or stains remaining
Ensure you are using the correct amount and type of detergent. Select an appropriate wash program for the fabric type and level of soiling. Check if the Anti-Stain settings were correctly applied for the specific stain type. Do not overload the drum, as this can impede cleaning.

Cons
