Full details
This is a re-release version of the Blitzer Beetle R/C assembly kit, inspired by exciting off-road desert racer designs. It features a distinctive form and offers fun, dynamic driving performance. The kit includes a durable resin body, molded in white with side mirror parts, which can be painted with Tamiya's TS spray paints. The chassis is a tough, lightweight ABS bathtub design with a rear-mounted motor and rear-wheel drive. The car has 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with CVA shock units and high-grip off-road tires for excellent performance on rough terrain. The injection-molded body includes metal-plated light covers and side mirror parts for added realism, along with a driver figure and a sticker sheet for a splash-pattern livery. The fully enclosed gearbox protects against dirt and debris and contains differential gears for smooth cornering. Front spiked tires have three ribs for stability, while rear tires feature spikes and an X-shaped tread pattern for grip. Required for completion: two-channel radio control unit, steering servo, 7.2-volt battery & charger, and Tamiya TS Paint.
