Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Before mounting, ensure you have the necessary tools, typically a drill, spirit level, pencil, and appropriate wall fixings for your wall type (screws and wall plugs are usually not included and must be sourced separately based on wall material). Mark the desired position for the brackets on the wall, ensuring they are level. Secure the brackets to the wall using appropriate fixings. Once the brackets are firmly attached, slide the shelf onto the brackets. Ensure the shelf is seated correctly and securely.
Compatibility: This shelf is designed for use on solid brick or wood walls. Ensure your wall surface is suitable for mounting and can support the weight capacity. Avoid mounting on plasterboard unless appropriate heavy-duty fixings and reinforcement are used.
Care: Clean the shelf with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the hardwearing foil finish. Ensure no liquids are left on the surface for extended periods, and wipe away any spills promptly.
