FAQs
What is KinetiCore technology?

How do I clean the helmet?
Clean the helmet with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse with clean water and allow it to air dry completely. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
What is the warranty period for this helmet?
Information regarding the specific warranty period is not provided in the product description. Please refer to the retailer or Lazer's official website for warranty details.
Is this helmet suitable for road cycling?
While designed for trail riding, its features like comfort, ventilation, and safety enhancements make it suitable for various cycling disciplines, though it prioritizes off-road protection and features.
Can I attach a different brand of light to this helmet?
The helmet is specifically designed for the Universal Lazer LED via Direct Mount. Attaching other brands may require alternative mounting solutions not covered by the helmet's design.
What does the 5/5 star rating from Virginia Tech mean?
The 5/5 star rating from Virginia Tech signifies that the helmet performed exceptionally well in their independent safety testing, indicating a high level of head protection.
How is the TurnSys system different from a standard dial adjustment?
The TurnSys system is designed for extremely quick and easy one-handed adjustments, even while riding, offering a seamless way to fine-tune the fit without looking.
Troubleshooting
Helmet feels too loose or too tight
Adjust the Lazer TurnSys dial to achieve the correct fit. If the size is fundamentally incorrect, this helmet is designed for a 55-61cm head circumference.
Straps are uncomfortable
Readjust the strap dividers and ensure the chin strap is snug but not constricting. The antibacterial and recycled straps are designed for comfort.
Sunglasses cause pressure points
Ensure your sunglasses are seated correctly within the helmet's eyewear recesses. Experiment with the position of the glasses and helmet.
Helmet seems to shift during rides
Re-tighten the TurnSys dial and ensure the retention system is properly engaged. Check that the helmet is positioned correctly on your head, covering the temples.
