Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, use an automotive parts catalog or your vehicle's service manual to confirm that the NGK 1565 (LPG6) is the specified part for your engine code. During installation, always use a torque wrench to tighten the plug to the manufacturer's specified setting to prevent damage to the cylinder head threads. Inspect the condition of your ignition coils and spark plug wires simultaneously, as a new spark plug cannot compensate for a faulty ignition lead. Keep the engine bay clean to prevent debris from falling into the spark plug wells during removal and installation.
