Full details

FAQs

Is this product suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, the formula is designed to be gentle and hydrating; however, if you have known allergies to marine-derived ingredients, please check the label carefully.

Can I use this under matte lipstick?

Absolutely. It serves as an excellent primer, provided you allow it to absorb for a minute before applying your matte product to ensure the best hold.

How often should I apply it?

You can apply it as often as needed throughout the day for hydration, and we recommend an extra application in the evening for restorative benefits.

Does it contain SPF?

No, this specific treatment is formulated for hydration and plumping, not sun protection.

Is it tested on animals?

No, the SBC Hydra-Collagen Replenishing Peptide Lip Treatment is cruelty-free.

Will this give me immediate, large lip volume?

The product enhances natural volume by hydrating and smoothing the lips; it does not provide the drastic, temporary swelling seen in irritant-based plumping products.

Troubleshooting

Product feels too thin when applied.

Apply a second, thin layer after the first has settled for 30 seconds to build the desired protective barrier.

Difficulty spreading the product.

Warm the tube between your palms for a few seconds if stored in a cold environment, as the conditioning agents may slightly thicken.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

No complex setup is required; simply twist the cap to open the 12ml applicator. For optimal results, ensure your lips are clean and free of dead skin buildup before the first application of the day. The product is compatible with all skin types and can be worn alongside any standard cosmetic lip color or stain. To maintain the integrity of the peptides and active ingredients, store the treatment in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the cap is tightened securely after every use to prevent the formula from thickening due to air exposure.
