This Homescapes Luxury Reversible Pedestal Mat in Navy Blue is designed for those seeking a spa-like experience at home. Its key benefit is superior absorbency and luxurious comfort, crafted from 100% cotton with a plush tufted side and a textured looped side. A minor caveat is that while it's naturally slip-resistant due to its weight and texture, an additional anti-slip mat may be desired for maximum security on all floor types.

The Homescapes Luxury Reversible Pedestal Mat measures 50 x 55 cm.
The product information does not specify compatibility with underfloor heating. It is recommended to avoid direct high heat during drying, so caution is advised.
The mat has natural anti-slip properties due to its weight and textured surface. For maximum security on all floor types, an additional separate anti-slip mat is available and recommended.
It is generally not recommended to use fabric softener on cotton bath mats, as it can reduce their absorbency over time. Stick to mild detergents.
GSM stands for 'Grams per Square Meter', which is a measure of fabric density. A higher GSM, like 1600, indicates a denser, plusher, and more absorbent mat.
To maintain colorfastness, wash in cold water and avoid harsh detergents. While generally durable, initial washes may benefit from being separate or with similar dark colors.
While primarily designed for bathrooms due to its absorbency and shape, it can be used in other areas like a kitchen or entryway where absorbency and comfort are desired.
Ensure the floor beneath is clean and dry. Gently smooth out the mat. If the issue persists, try placing a heavy object on the corners for a few hours or consider an underlay anti-slip mat.
While designed with weight and texture for slip resistance, for added security, place a separate anti-slip mat underneath. Ensure the floor itself is not excessively wet.
Ensure good ventilation in the bathroom. Avoid leaving the mat in a consistently damp environment. Hang it to air dry fully between uses if possible.
Ensure you are using a cold wash cycle and avoiding harsh detergents or bleach. Follow the specific care instructions for colorfastness.
Setup:
This mat requires no specific setup beyond placement. Simply position the mat where desired in your bathroom, ensuring it lies flat on the floor. For enhanced safety on slippery floor surfaces, consider purchasing a separate anti-slip mat to place underneath.
Compatibility:
The Homescapes Luxury Reversible Pedestal Mat is designed for use on most standard bathroom floor types, including tile, linoleum, and vinyl. Its weight and texture provide natural resistance to movement.
